8.7 - Equally Effective Accessible Alternative Materials |
en |
dc.description.abstract |
Jason Parker of SDSU provides an equally effective accessible alternative for students for a textbook. He obtained permission to use an online version of a textbook from the author so his students could download it and then read one chapter from it. This prevented copyright infringement and set a good example for his students. He made it clear that unless permission or other rights are given (such as creative commons), they can't download entire textbooks for free. |
