Part of University Advancement,the Marketing and Communications Department is responsible for promoting the mission, vision, reputation and brand of the university through media relations, publications, video production and web communications. The department serves as liaison between the campus and the news media, produces several key publications, including an e-newsletter for faculty and staff, a monthly community newspaper and a bi-annual alumni magazine, and works with a variety of stakeholders on campus and in the community to tell the Cal State Northridge story. Other areas within the department include: Media Relations, Editorial Services, Graphic Design, University Web Management, Photography and Videography, Marketing.
