dc.description 1.4 - Online Etiquette en
dc.description.abstract It is important to make sure students know what etiquette rules both the instructor and the institution enforces. Use of language, decorum, and format of discussion posts made by students needs to be clearly articulated. This applies to both face-to-face and online forum posts and other discussions. Here is an example where this instructor went above and beyond the normal etiquette rules to include guidance for students on how to disagree, make arguments, and be kind to other students. She gives them instructions on how to argue an idea and not argue against a person directly. en
